Sub Bid RequestsBuhler Commercial CSLB # 1003262 400 Brannan St., Ste. #204 San Francisco, CA 94107 (415) 610-8650 An Equal Opportunity Employer Buhler Commercial is preparing a bid as a Prime contractor for the following project: Contra Costa County Public Works Department: Ygnacio Valley Library Upgrades (WH430A) Women’s Business Enterprises, Other Business Enterprises, Minority Business Enterprises, Small Business Enterprises, Local Business Enterprise, Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises Participation Goal Bid Date: October 29, 2025 2PM Buhler Commercial is soliciting proposals/quotes from all qualified and certified Women’s Business Enterprises (WBE), Other Business Enterprises (OBE), Minority Business Enterprises (MBE), Small Business Enterprises (SBE), Local Business Enterprises (LBE), and Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises (DVBE), for the scopes of work required for the subject project located at 2661 Oak Grove Road Walnut Creek, CA 94598, including but not limited to: · Demolition of MEP equipment along with associated finishes · New concrete for miscellaneous housekeeping pads and bollards · Rough carpentry in wall/ceiling/roof backing for mounted equipment/curbs · Steel exterior bollards · Patching of existing roof from construction work · New roof coating system per plans and specifications · Flashings/sheet metal for new MEP penetrations/equipment at roof and exterior · Painting and finishes per plans and specifications · Patching interior/exterior finishes such as but not limited to gypsum board, paint, flooring, and ceiling · Repair to existing ACT ceiling along with new wood slat ceilings · Plumbing, mechanical, and electrical changes/upgrades per the plans and specifications · Waste Off-Haul/Recycle All Project Debris · Erosion control measures around exterior new work · Chain link fences, gates, and associated hardware · Site demolition and grading for new exterior work per plans and specifications · Open to receiving direct pricing for all project materials/equipment such as but not limited to: scope specific items, forklifts, boom lifts, construction trailer, construction tools, construction materials. · Temporary fencing during construction · Janitorial services for temporary cleaning · Janitorial services for final clean at the end of the project Construction Schedule: Overall Duration: 210 Calendar Days, Anticipated Start Date: TBD Matthew Anderson(415) 610-8650; matthew.anderson@buhlercommercial.com is the estimator for this project and is available to aid or answer questions regarding the project scope of work, bid requirements, bonding and insurance requirements, or any other questions you may have. Buhler Commercial will provide any assistance it can in helping interested parties in obtaining bonds, lines of credit, and insurance required. All proposals/quotes should be emailed to the Estimator prior to 9:00 AM on the Bid Date. Buhler Commercial is willing to break out any portion of work to encourage MBE/OBE/SBE/WBE/LBE/DVBE participation. All subcontractors are required to execute Buhler standard subcontract agreement and comply with all insurance requirements. Buhler Commercial requires subcontractors awarded on this project to provide Payment and Performance Bonds from a surety at the subcontractor’s expense for any contract that exceeds $300,000. Buhler Commercial is signatory to the Carpenters and Labors Union. Project is subject to a Project Labor Agreement (PLA) that all subcontractors must agree to in order to work on this project (copy of the PLA can be found in the project specifications). This is a Prevailing wage project. All subcontractors must be registered with the DIR.
