NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS
New Manufactured Home and Fire Suppression Upgrades
Imperial Wildlife Area
Imperial County
Invitation for Bid Number: P2599020
Sealed proposals will be received at the office of the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW), Lands and Facilities Engineering Branch, 1010 Riverside Parkway, West Sacramento, California, 95605, until 2:00 p.m. April 14th, 2026, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read for the work as follows:
Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, tools, parts, materials, supplies, permits, and incidentals necessary to provide demolition and clearance services on seven (7) structures, abate all hazardous materials, and provide environmental plans as required.
License Required: A - “General Engineering Contractor” or
B - “General Building Contractor”
With the following requirements:
C-22 License or ASB – Asbestos Certification
Engineers Estimate: $ 800,000.00
Prospective bidders may examine and obtain the bid forms, specifications, plans, and addenda (if any) by downloading this bid package from the California State Contracts Register (CaleProcure) website at https://caleprocure.ca.gov/pages/Events-BS3/event-search.aspx. At the website on the left-hand side of the page under the SEARCH pane, enter the following Invitation for Bid Number: P2599020 and select the “Search” button. Select “Description” to view the full advertisement. Any discrepancies, omissions, ambiguities, or conflicts in or among the contract documents or doubts as to meaning shall be brought to the State's attention by email to CDFW at Patrick.Luster@wildlife.ca.gov no later than 5 P.M., seven (7) calendar days prior to bid opening date.
It is the responsibility of the bidders to download any addendum as needed from CaleProcure website address stated above.
Pursuant to Section 1770 of the Labor Code, the Department of Industrial Relations has ascertained the general prevailing wage rates to be as listed in the “Prevailing Wage Data Base”, located at www.dir.ca.gov, or is available for inspection by interested parties at the address shown above.
Pursuant to Public Contract Code Section 10115 et seq., State law requires that contracts have a participation goal of 3% for Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises (DVBE's) for all contracts of $10,000 or more. Bids will only be accepted from those bidders who certify that they have achieved the goal as outlined in the instructions with the bid forms.
To qualify for the DVBE Incentive Preference, the bidder must achieve a minimum DVBE participation goal of 3%.
The project's bid award is subject to the “Small Business Procurement and Contract Act” five (5) percent bid preference rules.
A bidder's bond of at least 10% of the bid amount shall be submitted with the bid.
A 100% performance bond and 100% payment bond are required for this project.
