Sub Bid Requests INVITATION TO BID Project: Taxiway C Easterly Extension at LAX, Los Angeles CA Owner: Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA), RFP 0126-2025-01-RFP BID DUE DATE: March 24, 2025 @ 2:00 PM (Quotes not received by this date may not be reviewed/evaluated) Description: Taxiway C Easterly Extension project includes, but is not limited to demolition of existing pavement, subgrade preparation; stabilized base, PCC and AC pavement, airfield lighting electrical work, airfield markings, airfield signage, relocation of electrical equipment, demolition of existing facilities and buildings, and other associated work Skanska USA Civil West California District Inc. is soliciting in Good Faith all subcontractors and suppliers as well as CUCP certified DBE subcontractors and suppliers related to the following scopes of work: Aircraft Operations Area (AOA) Fence and Gate, Airfield Lighting and Signage System ,Artificial Turf, Construction Material Supply, Construction Survey and Staking, Contaminated Soil Removal and Disposal, Demolition and Removals, Earthwork, Hot Mix Asphalt (P-401)(PG76-22M), Hot Mix Asphalt (P-403), Joint Seal, K-Rail Mounted Fence, Lean Concrete Base (P-306), Lighting and Signage, Lime Treatment, Subgrade (P-155), Minor Concrete, Pavement Markings, Portland Cement Concrete Pavement (PCCP)(P-501), Process Miscellaneous Base (P-154), Quality Control, Relocation of Building Electrical Service, Security and Escort Services, Solar Powered Obstruction Lights, Storm Drainage System, Temporary Barricades, Temporary Erosion and Sediment Control, Temporary Fencing, Traffic Control Flagging, Trucking, Underground Utilities, Utility Investigation, Utility Relocation and Adjustments, Vacuum Sweepers, PR-24 Photographic Documentation. Requirements: Skanska is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is requesting quotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers. Skanska will assist qualified subcontractors and suppliers in obtaining bonding, lines of credit, insurance, necessary equipment, materials and/or supplies. To assist DBE subcontractors and suppliers, we will divide total requirements into smaller packages, tasks or quantities and establish delivery and construction schedules which will permit maximum participation when feasible. Skanska is signatory to the Operating Engineers, Laborers, Cement Masons, and Carpenters Unions. Subcontractors must provide weekly, one original and one copy of all certified payrolls, including non-performance and fringe benefit statements if required by law or by the Prime Contract. All Contractors and Subcontractors must be registered with the DIR (Department of Industrial Relations). Include CSLB License Number and DIR Number on All Quotes Submitted.
