Sub Bid Requests Owner: Gilead Science, Inc. Project Name: New Research Center Lab Location: Gilead’s Foster City Campus ADVERTISEMENT FOR PARTICIPATION FROM QUALIFIED WBE/MBE/VBE/DBE SUBCONTRACTORS & SUPPLIERS PROJECT NOTICE
McCarthy Building Companies, Inc. (MBC) will submit a bid for the New Research Center Lab project and is seeking qualified WBE, MBE, VBE and DBE subcontractors and suppliers to submit bids and quotations. The bid date is May 17th by 5:00 PM. Interested first tier subcontractors must be prequalified with MBC prior to the bid date.
A virtual pre-bid/outreach conference will be held on April 22, 2024, from 1:00 -2:00 PM to provide general information about this project, answer questions, and provide an opportunity for interested WBE/MBE/VBE/DBE subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to network with MBC and other interested subcontractors. The New Research Center (“NRC331”) Lab is a 5-story, 182,000 sf building located on the site of an existing 20,737 sf office building at 331 Lakeside Drive on Gilead’s Foster City Campus. The existing office building on the site will be demolished to make way for the NRC331 project's construction. When complete, the NRC331 project will provide a workplace for scientists; designed to promote collaboration between various scientific groups.
