Garney Pacific, Inc. is bidding the State Water Interconnect Project as a general contractor and is actively seeking DBE participation, including but not limited to firms with MBE, WBE, or SBE certifications.

PROJECT: STATE WATER INTERCONNECT PROJECT
OWNER: CITY OF SAN BUENAVENTURA  
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project consists of the construction of 30” and 24” cement mortar lined and coated (CMLC) steel pipe, a 24” high density polyethylene directional drilled pipeline, a flow control station with two 12” flow control valves, a new venturi meter, isolation valves on the 30” and 24” CMLC pipe, three jack and bore section of 30” pipe ( one at STA 114+70 – Ventura County Transportation Commission; one at STA 162+50 – Vineyard Avenue (State Route 232); one at STA 270+40 – Nyeland Drain), two 10” C900 potable water lines, a 16” C900 potable water well discharge line, sodium hypochlorite feed equipment at the Saticoy Conditioning Facility, polyphosphate feed equipment at the Saticoy Conditioning Facility, ammonium sulfate feed equipment at the Saticoy Conditioning Facility, a flow control facility at the Saticoy Conditioning Facility, new electrical equipment, modification of existing electrical equipment, and new instrumentation. All related work not specifically identified in this section, including valves (etc.) and appurtenant work as described in the Contract Documents shall be completed by the CONTRACTOR and appurtenant work as shown on the project plans (Drawing No. 2023-D-036) and in accordance with the project specifications.  The Engineer's Estimate of cost is $44,827,904. The total contract duration is 1,098 consecutive calendar days.

Garney Pacific, Inc. is a union contractor and all subcontractors on the project must utilize union labor. Garney requires that all potential subcontractors are prepared to provide a 100% Payment and Performance Bond from a US Treasury listed Surety Company. Garney will reimburse subcontractors for the required bond premium, so please provide your bond rate at the time of bid. The decision to bond any or all subcontractors shall be at the sole discretion of Garney, unless the project documents note otherwise. Garney Standard PO & Subcontract Forms: Standard Purchase Order and Subcontract documents can be downloaded with the bid documents. These documents will be used as the basis of contracting with Garney for the above-mentioned project. If you have any exceptions to these documents, please send redlines and comments with your quote.
