BID DATE: APRIL 28, 2026 QUOTES DUE BY: APRIL 28, 2026 PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project consists of the construction of 30” and 24” cement mortar lined and coated (CMLC) steel pipe, a 24” high density polyethylene directional drilled pipeline, a flow control station with two 12” flow control valves, a new venturi meter, isolation valves on the 30” and 24” CMLC pipe, three jack and bore section of 30” pipe ( one at STA 114+70 – Ventura County Transportation Commission; one at STA 162+50 – Vineyard Avenue (State Route 232); one at STA 270+40 – Nyeland Drain), two 10” C900 potable water lines, a 16” C900 potable water well discharge line, sodium hypochlorite feed equipment at the Saticoy Conditioning Facility, polyphosphate feed equipment at the Saticoy Conditioning Facility, ammonium sulfate feed equipment at the Saticoy Conditioning Facility, a flow control facility at the Saticoy Conditioning Facility, new electrical equipment, modification of existing electrical equipment, and new instrumentation. All related work not specifically identified in this section, including valves (etc.) and appurtenant work as described in the Contract Documents shall be completed by the CONTRACTOR and appurtenant work as shown on the project plans (Drawing No. 2023-D-036) and in accordance with the project specifications. The Engineer's Estimate of cost is $44,827,904. The total contract duration is 1,098 consecutive calendar days. Garney requires that all potential subcontractors are prepared to provide a 100% Payment and Performance Bond from a US Treasury listed Surety Company. Garney will reimburse subcontractors for the required bond premium, so please provide your bond rate at the time of bid. The decision to bond any or all subcontractors shall be at the sole discretion of Garney, unless the project documents note otherwise.
