Sub Bid Requests Project Name: Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles – Tree Maintenance at PH Sites Location: Los Angeles, California Bid Date: Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at 11:00 AM Labor Requirements: State Prevailing Wage / OHA Section 3/ EEO / WCA is signatory to LiUNA Project Schedule: TBD 2023- 2028 West Coast Arborists, Inc. is in receipt of the Bid Set and are currently requesting bid proposals from qualified subcontractors for tree trimming services from interested MBE/WBE/LSA businesses. This RFP calls for labor, materials and equipment necessary to provide tree trimming and removal services at 13 public housing sites. Contract term is for a period of 1 year with 4 one-year options to renew. EEO Requirements: The Contractor will use its best efforts to afford minority-owned and women-owned business enterprises the maximum practicable opportunity to participate in the construction of the project. The Contractor shall, at a minimum, notify applicable minority-owned and women-owned business firms located in the City of Oakland of bid opportunities for the project. Documentation of such notifications shall be maintained by the Contractor and made available to the Oakland Housing Authority as requested.
