Sub Bid Requests REQUEST FOR QUOTATION American Bridge Company is preparing a bid for the following project: USACE Jennings Randolph Spillway Tainter Gate Rehabilitation Elk Garden, Mineral Co. WV/ Swanton, Garrett Co. MD Contract # W912DR23R0019 Letting Date 6/16/2023 11:00 AM EST The bid submittal is scheduled for June 16th, 2023 at 11:00 am. We hereby request that you submit your quotation to us no later than 5:00 pm June 14th, 2023, on the items of work or materials that your company is certified to supply or perform. We encourage the participation of all SB/SDB/WOSB/HUBZone/VOSB/SDVOSB firms certified on the Federal Directory. All firms are encouraged to include their percentage of participation with their quotation for inclusion into our overall project goals as listed above. The US Army Corps of Engineers seek to rehabilitate the spillway gates at Jennings Randolph Lake by replacing the drive machinery and repairing trunnion hubs of all 5 gates. Additional work includes cleaning & painting of all gates to support installation of new bracing steel. Electrical upgrades will also be performed along with optional work to clear and build new roads along with repair of the North Abutment. New metal building canopies will also be designed, fabricated, and installed as part of this contract for all machinery platforms. If your firm is awarded the project by American Bridge Company, you will be required to execute our standard subcontract or material supply agreement and adhere to AB’s standard Safety and Quality Programs, all of which is available for your review in the AB Standard Programs & Contracts folder within the project Plan Room. Subcontractors, dependent on scale of scope, may be required to furnish a conforming certificate of insurance along with payment and performance bonds before entering a subcontract, the cost of which should be included in your quotation. Suppliers, dependent on scale of scope, may be required to furnish a supply bond before entering into an agreement.
