Nibbi Brothers has been selected as the General Contractor for the Mission Bay Block 9A housing project in San Francisco.  We are in receipt of the 75% CD set and are currently requesting bid proposals from qualified subcontractors and suppliers including those certified with the Office of Community Investment and Infrastructure (OCII)/Successor to SFRA for Design-Build Piles. The Office of Community Investment and Infrastructure (OCII) has established a 50% SBE participation goal for this project, with first consideration to San Francisco-based LBEs located in zip code areas 94124, 94134 and 94107, followed by all other San Francisco-based LBEs.  Non-San Francisco based SBEs should only be used to satisfy participation goals where San Francisco-based firms are not available, qualified, or if their bids or fees are significantly higher than those of non-San Francisco-based firms.  We strongly encourage LBE/MBE/WBE to participate. Please contact Maria Pecot, OCII Contract Compliance Specialist for additional information at maria.pecot@sfgov.org. The 350 China Basin Street project consists of approximately 179,937 GSF sprinklered Type I-B (concrete superstructure + misc steel posts and beams at rooftop structures & misc. other locations), eight-story mid-rise residential building, 148 affordable for sale condo units including 1, 2, and 3-bedroom configurations.  The project will be approximately 89'-4" to the roof structure, as measured from the lowest entry point on the site (along China Basin Street). The proposed project would include new sidewalks & street trees, utility infrastructure and landscaping as well as common, landscaped open space for residents at levels 02 and 09 Roof.  The building design will incorporate sustainable building strategies to achieve LEED Silver or Green Point Rated.
