International Association of Women “Together We Rise” Virtual Summit Equips Women with Tools for Success

Internationally Renowned Speakers, Business Pitch Competition, and Grant Opportunities Provide Attendees a Life-changing Experience

On March 12, The International Association of Women (IAW) is equipping women for success throughout the world during Women’s History Month through its “Together We Rise” Virtual Summit from 12pm to 6pm EST. With a focus on providing education, inspiration, and networking opportunities guaranteed to impact each attendee’s success, this transformational opportunity will feature three keynote speakers, workshops, a Business Pitch Competition, and the Dr. Barbara Young Women’s Empowerment Grant.
 
“This life-changing event will provide support from around the globe to help women thrive in their professional journey,” said International Association of Women President Megan Bozzuto. “Now more than ever, it’s critically important to equip all women with the tools that they need for success.”
 
The Business Pitch Competition will generate immediate value for a women-owned business. With a $5,000 prize and the validation of a panel of experts, the winner will have a powerful tool to share with potential investors. Additionally, five women who have demonstrated their commitment to furthering their education and/or business will each receive a $1,000 Dr. Barbara Young Women’s Empowerment Grant.

·       Presentations by 3 inspiring Keynote Speakersincluding: Lexi B., Senior Program Manager, Twitter; Sylvia Baffour, President of Baffour International LLC; and Sahra Nguyen, Founder & CEO at Nguyen Coffee Supply.
·       10 interactive, 40-minute workshops provide tips and strategies to help women
execute and take action. Topics include: What C-Suite Women Do Differently &
How You Can Do It Too; The ‘And’ Life: Create a Powerful Career and Extraordinary Personal Life; PR Connect! Media Strategies and Executive Presence.
·       4 panel discussionsto help women overcome challenges, execute plans, and persevere through adversity, covering topics like “Reshaping How Women Show Up in the Workplace,” “Big Business Strategy for Small Business Owners,” and “Solutions for the Overworked and Overwhelmed Woman.”
 
Together We Rise is a movement that encourages the support, recognition, and advancement of professional women.
