S.J. Amoroso Construction Co., LLC. is bidding the above referenced project. We are actively pursuing compliance with the SB,SDB, WOSB, SDVOSB, VOSB and HUB zone business goals and would appreciate your bid on this project.
 
Project Description:
This project consists of constructing a new 150,000 sf Community Living Center (CLC) located on an approximate 52 acre site in French Camp, CA which is located just south of Stockton, CA. The CLC is comprised of two primary components: (1) a "Community Center" for centralized administrative functions, larger social gatherings and common activities shared by all residents and (2) a "residential/ home environment". Within the three distinct "Residential Neighborhoods", each of which includes four 10-Bed Residential Houses, all with associated support and staff spaces. Each neighborhood is connected to the central Community Center by enclosed connecting corridors. The Community Center provides centralized space for common social activities and events as well as a therapy space, administrative offices, a centralized kitchen and community support functions. This 150,000 sf CLC will include 120 bed Nursing Home Care Unit (NHCU) beds in private bedrooms with private bathrooms.
*** There was a site visit scheduled for Thursday, March 28, 2024, at 10:00 AM at 6505 S Manthey Road, French Camp, CA 95231. Refer to attachment 10 in the “public folder”Amoroso attended this site visit. It is an open site that will have plenty of room for parking and/or trailers. Laydown space should not be an issue.

Bidders must self-register using said site. Use your email along with Bidder Inquiry Key is: G399ZX-BJXJ45. Refer to Page 16 of 81 within the Solicitation to Bid for more information on submitting pre-bid RFI’s.

*** PLA Requirement: This project is subject to a Project Labor Agreement (PLA) per FAR provision 52.222-33, Notice of Requirement for Project Labor Agreement, and clause 52.222-34, Project Labor Agreement. Refer to page 78 of 81 within the Solicitation to Bid for more information.
***All bidders must hold their bid pricing for 180 days.

S.J. Amoroso Construction Co., LLC (Amoroso) may require subcontractors to provide 100% Payment & Performance Bonds, from a California admitted surety with an AM Best rating of A-VII or better, as a condition of contract. Amoroso is signatory to the Carpenter's Collective Bargaining Agreement. Amoroso strongly encourages the use of qualified M/W/D/O/S/DVBE subcontractors and vendors. Please include the use of qualified M/W/D/O/S/DVBE suppliers and lower tier subcontractors where applicable. It is the subcontractor's responsibility to review the Owner's General and Special Conditions for this project, as they will be binding. Subcontractors will also be required to execute Amoroso's standard Subcontract Agreement and comply with Amoroso’s standard insurance requirements and safety requirements, all without modification, should we both be awarded this project. Amoroso’s listing of a subcontractor is not to be construed as an acceptance of all of the sub's conditions or exceptions included with the price quote. Per California Labor Code 1771.1: A contractor or subcontractor shall not be qualified to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal, subject to the requirements of Section 4104 of the Public Contract Code, or engage in the performance of any contract for public work, as defined in this chapter, unless currently registered and qualified to perform public work pursuant to Section 1725.5. Subcontractor’s must provide their CA License & DIR Certification numbers with proposals.
