Project Scope:
The base bid generally consists of the de-channelization and restoration of a portion of Chollas Creek, including concrete channel and bridge removal; installation of a gravity block retaining wall; construction of a natural stone channel; construction of a headwall and junction structure; and construction of maintenance access ramps to the channel. Alternate items include the construction of trail; construction of curb ramps, curb, gutter, and sidewalk; landscaping and irrigation; and play and exercise equipment installation. Work is within the City of San Diego and Caltrans rights-of-way.
