LAX UAL Hangar Demo Request for Proposals (RFP) submission due January 29, 2026, at 2:00pm PST Swinerton Builders is seeking subcontractors to bid for the LAX UAL Hangar Demo, located at 7270 World Way West, Los Angeles, CA 90045. Project Overview: The proposed project will include the demolition and environmental decommissioning of the high-bay hangar for United Airlines; the installation of new electrical and utility infrastructure; the installation of new pavement, pavement replacement & repairs and site improvements; lighting and security enhancements as directed by LAWA. 1. This is a Prevailing Wage project. Certified payroll will be required. 2. Bids are to be good for 180 daysfrom bid date. 3. This project is subject to LAWA’s Project Labor Agreement (PLA). 4. This project has the following Certified Firm Participation and Inclusivity Commitments. Swinerton strongly encourages qualified firms with applicable certifications to participate in this bid.
· Pre-Bid RFIs Due: Friday, January 16, 2026, on or before 11:00 AM PST · Bids Due: Thursday, January 29, 2026, at 2:00 PM (PST) via Building Connected. Schedule:Anticipated to commence on or about May 4, 2026 (tentative). The Contract Time for completion of the Work under this Contract shall be Thee Hundred and Ninety-Two (392) Calendar Days. Final Completion shall occur thereafter in accordance with the requirements of the Task Order. Bid Packages (includes but is not limited to):SWPP / Erosion Control, Surveying, Final Cleaning, Abatement, Building & Site Demolition, Concrete Reinforcing, Building Concrete, Fire Suppression System, Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical, Earthwork, Asphalt Paving, Site Concrete, Fencing & Gates, Site Utilities Subcontractors are also encouraged to begin the Swinerton Prequalification process at: http://www.swinerton.com/subcontractors/subcontractor-prequal At Swinerton’s discretion, Swinerton may require a Payment and Performance bond and/or a letter of bondability from a qualified and accepted Treasury listed Surety within 48 hours of demand. Please provide bond rate together with single project bond $ limit for scope of work to be performed in your proposal.
