Tangram Donates Classroom Desks and Workstations for Children at Orange County Rescue Mission Amid Hybrid School Year

Tangram Interiors, a curator of highly creative commercial interior environments and workspaces, has made a donation of classroom desks, workstations and task chairs to the non-profit Orange County Rescue Mission in Tustin, Calif. Orange County Rescue Mission (OCRM) serves homeless men, women and children through guidance counseling, education, job training, shelter, food, clothing, health care and independent living communities. The residents, from all walks of life, are survivors of abuse, addiction, joblessness and abandonment. The products donated, delivered and installed by Tangram, were used to furnish OCRMs corporate office and student classrooms. OCRM received 61 Steelcase Node Desks for students to use in the OCRM classrooms. Classrooms were renovated during the 2020 pandemic so the 61 resident students could continue to learn remotely. As children continue to have hybrid schooling options, OCRM has put in a concerted effort in supplying functional learning spaces for the children, with continued support from Tangram Interiors. Workstations and task chairs were set up for adults currently working for OCRM in the corporate office in various departments. These furniture donations provide an organized space for volunteers and employees to assist residents.
