Notice is hereby given that the Oakland Unified School District (hereinafter referred to as “Owner”) will receive sealed bids prior to the date and time stated for the bid opening for the award of a contract to construct the  (“Contract”),  Project No. 22105
 
Re-Bid-Oakland Unified School District Central Office Move
1000 Broadway, Oakland, CA.  94607
 
as per the Contract Documents, including the drawings and specifications, which may now be obtained electronically from the Architect, who is N/A

Project consists of:
 
Scope of work includes but not limited to: moving services. Vendor will be required to provide 1000 Broadway (Central Office) building with protection of floors (Masonite) and corner guards approximating 1500 sq.ft.  Vendor will relocate and move items typically found in a professional office setting including, but not limited to: office furniture, material, records, and appliances. Vendor will be required to assemble/disassemble, takedown/setup furniture as needed. The following suites at the Central Offices are scheduled for relocation: #150, #440 and #450. Contents from the three suites will either be: recycled, relocated to the storage locations or relocated to various office locations as enumerated below:

This Contract is not subject to prequalification pursuant to Public Contract Code section 20111.6.  
 
This Contract is not subject to the District’s Project Labor Agreement.

The Contract Time shall be ninety (90) calendar days, and liquidated damages for delay shall accrue. The deadline for Completion is TBD.  See Article III of the Agreement for details.

on April 6, 2023,  before 2:00 p.m. on the clock designated by the Owner or its representative as the bid clock.  No bid will be accepted by the Owner after this time.  Facsimile (FAX) copies of the bid will not be accepted.  PLEASE NOTE:  DUE TO COVID-19 BIDS WILL NOT BE OPENED.  BID RESULTS WILL BE MADE AVAILABLE VIA EMAIL.
 
No pre-bid site visit isrequired for this project.
                  
Bids must be accompanied by a bidder’s bond, cashier’s check, or certified check for at least ten percent (10%) of the amount of the base bid and made payable to the Owner, as detailed in the Contract Documents.    
 
The Owner will not consider or accept any bids from contractors who are not licensed to do business in the State of California, in accordance with the California Public Contract Code, providing for the licensing of contractors.  In accordance with Section 3300 of said Code, the bidder shall have a 5 yrs or more / Commercial Moving license at the time of award and shall maintain that license in good standing through Completion of the Contract and all applicable warranty periods.
