Public Legal NoticesGOLDEN GATE BRIDGE, HIGHWAY AND TRANSPORTATION DISTRICT NOTICE INVITING BIDS The Golden Gate Bridge, Highway and Transportation District (District) seeks bids for Contract No.2018-F-109, SHIPYARD-REBUILD OF THE M.S. SONOMA. Interested Bidders must submit bids by way of upload to the District's Procurement Portal: https://ggbhtd.bonfirehub.com by Tuesday, March 26, 2019, at 2:00 p.m., PT, at which time bids will be publicly opened and read. A pre-bid conference will be held at the Conference Room at the Larkspur Ferry Terminal, Ferry Division Administration Building, 101 East Sir Francis Drake Boulevard, Larkspur, CA 94939 on Tuesday, February 19, 2019, at 10:00 a.m., PT. The District hereby notifies all Bidders that it is the policy of the District to ensure nondiscrimination on the basis of race, color, national origin, or sex in the award and administration of contracts. Bidders are strongly encouraged to obtain Small Business Enterprise (SBE) participation on this project. The District has evaluated subcontracting opportunities for this contract and has established an SBE goal of 2.2%. Bidders must meet the established SBE contract-specific goal of 2.2% on this project or demonstrate good faith efforts. Requests for approved equals, modifications or clarifications of any requirement must be submitted in writing by Tuesday, March 12, 2019, at 4:00 p.m., PT. The Bid Documents are available for download on the District's Procurement Portal. In order to download and respond to posted solicitations, Proposers will need to register.
